RTT has released updated software for its flagship product, RTT DeltaGen, the company’s 3D visualization solution. It enables users in high-end professional visualization to improve workflows by becoming more efficient throughout the product lifecycle and reducing time-to-market.

At the same time, RTT is also launching a new service for its customers, the RTT Viz Experience. This feature will give DeltaGen users a platform from which to download 3D content for use in digital scenes.

During the development of the latest generation of software, RTT focused on improving performance while maximizing visual quality. The new version addresses the need for a higher utilization rate of the available computing power and allows computing clusters to run faster and scale calculations are more effective. In addition, enhanced NURBS-on-demand technology ensures flexible data handling, while an adaptable user interface makes browsing easier. Human Machine Interface (HMI) verification through interactive textures allows the integration of third-party applications (for example, the navigation system) and new lens flare effects generate atmospheric reflections.

Other features include interactive texture simulation, high-quality global illumination, more efficient scaling with extended multicast, NURBS on demand, and more consistent display results.

The RTT Viz Experience will act as an exclusive content portal. It will provide customers with a set of high-quality assets. These assets will include surroundings, 3D models, and materials. These can be used in the RTT Display Platform to bring 3D scenes to life.
